About Us
At Post 11-11 we are an American Legion Family consisting of Legion Members, the Auxiliary and the Sons of the American Legion.  We are involved with many activities within our community and we support numerous projects nationally.  We are all proud of our country and our flag for which it stands.

All members of The American Legion once served this great nation in times of war.  Some are still serving today.  Our members once represented all branches of our mighty military force.  We as individuals served in different capacities -- some as grunts and some as officers.  In the legion there is no rank in our membership.  With all of us having different opinions, religions and political beliefs, we come together for a common bond, supporting patriotism, our community, state and nation and protecting our flag and the American Way of Life.
Preamble to the Constitution of The American Legion

For God and Country
We associate ourselves together for the following purposes:

To uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America;
to maintain law and order;
to foster and perpetuate a one hundred percent Americanism;
to preserve the memories and incidents of our associations in the Great Wars;
to inculcate a sense of individual obligation to the community, state and nation;
to combat the autocracy of both the classes and the masses;
to make right the master of might;
to promote peace and goodwill on earth;
to safeguard and transmit to posterity the principles of justice, freedom and democracy;
to consecrate and sanctify our comradeship by our devotion to mutual helpfulness.
